Dr. David Pezzeca is a Clinical Psychologist (Psy.D.) with nearly 30 years of mental health experience, including 17 years as a clinical psychologist and 11 years as a master’s-level clinician. He earned both his Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Chestnut Hill College and also holds a Certificate of Concentration in Psychological Assessment. Dr. Pezzeca is known for his patient, genuine, and compassionate approach, creating a supportive environment where individuals feel understood and empowered to make meaningful changes. He believes in a strong therapeutic relationship based on trust, authenticity, and collaboration.
Dr. Pezzeca works with a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, OCD, trauma, grief, stress, anger, self-esteem issues, adolescent challenges, relationship concerns, and autism spectrum disorders. His treatment style is individualized and evidence-based, incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), behavioral therapy, mindfulness, relaxation strategies, and humanistic approaches that focus on each person’s strengths and unique circumstances. He will also be focusing on evidence-based treatments that support neuroplasticity, including neurofeedback and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) for our ASD patients. These treatments improve brain function and emotional wellness. Dr. Pezzeca is passionate about helping individuals build resilience, gain healthier perspectives, and create lasting positive change.
